Quick and easy pork chops with a creamy apple cider sauce, perfect for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thick boneless pork chops (about 2 lbs total)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 7-9 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (145ยฐF internal temperature). Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce skillet heat to low. Add apple cider, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard, then add heavy cream. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return pork chops to the pan to warm through, or serve immediately. Spoon sauce over chops. Garnish with rosemary if desired.

Notes

  • Use room temperature heavy cream for a smoother sauce.
  • Ensure apple cider is unsweetened for best flavor.
