Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, cleaned and trimmed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the glaze.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until cooked through and slightly browned.
If you want a thicker glaze, remove the wings from the baking sheet and place the baking sheet over medium heat. Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens.
Return the wings to the pan and toss to coat in the thickened glaze.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For crispier wings, you can bake them at 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving for extra flavor and visual appeal.
