Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

A simple casserole that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the condensed tomato soup and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and cooked macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like corn or peas if desired.
  • Top with extra cheese before serving.
