A simple and flavorful baked salmon recipe with lemon and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the salmon fillet, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.

Notes

  • For crispier skin, you can broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and lemon to your preference.
