Banana Oat Pancakes

Simple and healthy banana oat pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine mashed banana, rolled oats, milk, egg, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a thinner batter, add a little more milk.
  • Add berries or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
