A quick and easy BBQ chicken flatbread recipe perfect for a weeknight meal or appetizer.

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border.
  4. Top with the shredded chicken and red onion.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before baking.
  • You can substitute other cheeses like cheddar or Monterey Jack.
  • Leftover rotisserie chicken works well for this recipe.
