Beef and Cheese Quesadillas

Quick and easy quesadillas filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Wipe the skillet clean. Heat oil in the skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place one tortilla in the skillet. Sprinkle half of the tortilla with cheese and top with 1/4 cup of the beef mixture. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat with remaining tortillas, cheese, and beef mixture.
  7. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite toppings like salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
  • For spicier quesadillas, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
