BLT Chicken Salad

A serving of BLT Chicken Salad on a bed of lettuce with tomato wedges. Crispy bacon and green onions top the salad.

A twist on classic chicken salad, incorporating the flavors of a BLT sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving
  • Tomato slices for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
  4. Serve the chicken salad on lettuce leaves with tomato slices.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
  • Add a pinch of smoked paprika for extra smoky flavor.
  • This salad can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
