  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, honey, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or dish. Pour marinade over chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours.
  4. Grill, bake, or pan-sear the chicken until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For sweetness, maple syrup or agave syrup can be used as substitutes for honey.
  • Do not marinate for more than 24 hours.
  • Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • Freeze for up to three months.
