Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Yogurt Bark

Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Yogurt Bark (Healthy Valentine’s Treat) - Tasty

A simple, healthy frozen yogurt bark recipe featuring chocolate and strawberries, suitable for Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for melting chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, aiming for about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries over the yogurt layer.
  5. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the strawberries and yogurt. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the chocolate slightly, if desired.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  8. Once frozen, break the bark into irregular pieces. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • For a thicker bark, use a smaller baking sheet.
  • You can use any type of yogurt, but Greek yogurt yields a firmer result.
  • If you do not have dark chocolate, milk chocolate works as an alternative.
