Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup red and green sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Stir in the white chocolate chips and sprinkles, if using.
  6. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For a different flavor, you can add cocoa powder to the dough for chocolate cookie dough truffles.
  • You can dip the truffles in melted chocolate before adding sprinkles for an extra layer of flavor and decoration.
