Cilantro Lime Steak Bowls

Quick and flavorful steak bowls with cilantro and lime.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Optional toppings: black beans, corn, salsa, avocado

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
  4. Let steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  5. Toss sliced steak with lime juice and chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve steak over cooked rice with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Marinate the steak for at least 15 minutes for more flavor.
  • Adjust seasonings to your preference.
