Delicious Crab Crescent Bites Delight, golden brown and sprinkled with sesame seeds, on a wooden board.

Savory crab meat mixed with cream cheese and seasonings, baked in flaky crescent rolls.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (6 oz) can crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  5. Roll up the crescent rolls from the wide end to the tip.
  6. Place the rolled crescent bites onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the crescent bites with the beaten egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the crab mixture.
  • You can substitute imitation crab meat if fresh crab is unavailable.
  • These bites can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
