Bang Bang Chicken Bowl Without the Fuss

A quick and healthy Bang Bang Chicken Bowl recipe that’s easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • ยฝ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots to the same skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  6. Combine cooked rice, stir-fried vegetables, and chicken in a large bowl.
  7. Drizzle with the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve in bowls, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha sauce to your spice preference.
  • Use white or brown rice as desired.
