  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and chili flakes. Heat over low flame for about 5 minutes, stirring until the mixture thickens slightly. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  3. Crack eggs into the hot skillet, ensuring space between them. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until whites are golden brown and crispy with runny yolks.
  4. Transfer cooked eggs to a plate.
  5. Drizzle the warm sauce over the fried eggs.
  6. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use Tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • Apple cider or white wine vinegar can substitute rice vinegar.
  • Replace honey with sugar for a vegan option.
  • Adjust chili flakes for desired spice level.
  • Canola or sunflower oil are recommended.
