Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cups garlic parmesan sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta.
  3. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and broccoli florets to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is heated through and the broccoli is tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the drained pasta, cooked chicken and broccoli mixture, garlic parmesan sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top the pasta evenly with the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, you can add a splash of milk or heavy cream to the garlic parmesan sauce before mixing it with the pasta.
