These patties combine sweet potato and lentils for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cooked lentils, mashed sweet potato, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and heated through.
  6. Serve warm.
