A simple and quick quiche recipe perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., onion, bell pepper, spinach)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, cooked meat (if using), and chopped vegetables.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
  • Add your favorite herbs like chives or parsley for extra flavor.
  • If you don’t have a pre-made crust, you can make your own.
