Fast Salsa Chicken for Tacos and Bowls

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (16 oz) jar thick salsa
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cups cheese (shredded)
  • 1 pkg corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Add chicken, taco seasoning, and salsa to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 5 hours.
  3. Shred chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Let simmer in the juices for another 10-15 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle cilantro on top.
  6. Serve in warm corn tortillas or as a bowl with your favorite toppings.
