  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 oz) jar salsa
  • 1 package corn tortillas, warmed
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts, taco seasoning, and salsa in a slow cooker. Ensure chicken is well coated.
  2. Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 5 hours.
  3. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  4. Simmer the shredded chicken in the juices for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve in warm corn tortillas or over rice for bowls. Add your favorite toppings.
