Fiery Chicken Ramen - Tasty

A spicy and flavorful chicken ramen recipe.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 servings ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, halved
  • 1 sheet nori (seaweed), cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken thighs in a pot with chicken broth until cooked through. Remove chicken and shred.
  2. In the same pot, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to package directions.
  4. Divide noodles and broth between two bowls.
  5. Top each bowl with shredded chicken, green onions, hard-boiled egg, and nori strips.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of gochujang to control the spice level.
  • You can add other toppings like corn, bean sprouts, or mushrooms.
