Garlic Butter Beef and Rice

A simple and flavorful dish featuring tender beef, garlic butter sauce, and fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss beef with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove beef from skillet.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return beef to the skillet and cook until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve beef and sauce over cooked rice. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the beef for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Serve with your favorite steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
