Garlic Butter Salmon with Crispy Edges

A quick and easy air fryer recipe for flavorful salmon with perfectly crispy edges, ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry using paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Set your air fryer temperature to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  6. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For thicker fillets (over 1.5 inches), increase cook time by 1 to 2 minutes.
  • If using skin-on salmon, place fillets skin-side down.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
