Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl

A quick and flavorful shrimp and rice dish with garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Stir in parsley.
  7. Serve shrimp and sauce over cooked rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic.
  • You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu.
