Greek Chicken Meatballs - Tasty

Juicy and flavorful Greek chicken meatballs seasoned with herbs and spices.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the beaten egg and mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add meatballs to the skillet in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  7. Remove meatballs from skillet and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with tzatziki sauce or a side salad.
  • These meatballs can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
