Greek Chicken Tenders

Easy Greek-inspired chicken tenders with lemon and herbs.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. Serve hot, with Greek yogurt if desired.

Notes

  • For crispier tenders, you can broil them for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • You can substitute fresh herbs for dried if you prefer. Use 1 tablespoon each of fresh oregano and dill.
