Ground Beef and Cauliflower Skillet

A simple and quick skillet meal with ground beef and cauliflower.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  5. Add cauliflower florets, beef broth, and Italian seasoning to the skillet.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender-crisp.
  8. Stir occasionally.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
