Halloween Donuts You Can Make at Home

Easy and fun Halloween-themed donuts you can create in your own kitchen.

  • 1 tube (16.5 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Orange, black, and purple food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit in half horizontally to create two thinner rounds.
  3. Use a small cookie cutter or a knife to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit half to form a donut shape.
  4. Place the donut shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Divide the frosting into three small bowls.
  7. Add orange food coloring to one bowl, black to another, and purple to the third. Stir until evenly colored.
  8. Dip each cooled donut into one of the colored frostings, letting excess drip off.
  9. Decorate immediately with Halloween-themed sprinkles and candy eyes before the frosting sets.
  10. Allow the frosting to harden before serving.

  • You can also use a donut pan and your favorite donut recipe for a from-scratch version.
  • Get creative with your decorations! Use edible markers to draw faces or patterns.
  • Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
