  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the oatmeal cups cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, decorate the oatmeal cups with Halloween-themed sprinkles and candy eyes to create festive faces or designs.
