Honey Garlic Pork Chops with Sticky Sauce

Tender, flavorful pork chops coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Add smoked paprika if desired.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove chops to a plate.
  3. Reduce skillet heat to medium. Sautรฉ minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, chopped rosemary, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Return pork chops to the skillet. Coat with sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, spooning sauce over chops. Cook until internal temperature reaches 145ยฐF (63ยฐC).
  5. Remove skillet from heat. Let pork chops rest for a few minutes. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve immediately.

  • Serve with steamed rice or mashed potatoes.
  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the pork chops in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the heat level.
