Strawberry Cream Cheese Egg Rolls

  • 8 eggroll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and strawberries.
  2. Lay out eggroll wrappers and place a spoonful of the filling in each.
  3. Moisten edges of the wrappers with egg wash and fold.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  5. Carefully lower the eggrolls into the hot oil, a few at a time.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature to prevent the egg rolls from becoming greasy.
  • Do not overcrowd the fryer; fry in batches for best results.
