  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 ยฝ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ยฝ tsp salt
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and pound to an even thickness.
  2. Mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub over chicken.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5โ€“6 minutes per side.
  4. Flip chicken, add minced garlic and butter.
  5. Spoon melted butter over chicken to baste.
  6. Cook for another 5โ€“6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (75ยฐC).
  7. Add thyme leaves in the last minute of cooking.
  8. Remove chicken, let rest for 3โ€“5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
