  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped dill, and minced garlic.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper, then pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh dill sprigs before serving.
