Lemon Herb Pork Chops with Bright Zest

Three pan-seared Lemon Herb Pork Chops with Bright Zest, glistening in a savory sauce and garnished with fresh herbs.

Quick and easy pan-fried pork chops with a vibrant lemon herb sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-ounce) boneless pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and shimmering.
  3. Carefully place the pork chops in the hot skillet. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the fresh parsley and chives.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your pork chops to ensure they are cooked through.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
