Lemon Herb Baked Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on one side of the baking sheet.
  4. Arrange the asparagus spears around the salmon.
  5. Drizzle the salmon and asparagus with olive oil.
  6. Sprinkle with minced garlic, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Top the salmon with lemon slices.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with a side of quinoa or brown rice for a more complete meal.
