Lipton Onion Potatoes Recipe

A simple and flavorful roasted potato recipe using Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold or red potatoes
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the potatoes. Cut them into evenly sized chunks or wedges.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Lipton onion soup mix, melted butter, and olive oil. Stir well.
  3. Add the cut potatoes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  5. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving hot.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, ensure you use a gluten-free Lipton Onion Soup Mix.
  • Substitute vegan margarine for butter to make this recipe dairy-free.
  • You can use any neutral oil instead of olive oil.
