Meatball and Mashed Potato Bake

A simple bake with meatballs and mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs in a baking dish.
  5. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meatballs.
  6. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • You can use leftover mashed potatoes.
  • Add a pinch of garlic powder to the meatball mixture for extra flavor.
