Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional: lettuce, tomato, onion for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Warm the tortillas according to package directions.
  4. Place about 1/4 of the cooked chicken mixture onto one half of each tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  6. Fold the tortillas in half.
  7. Place the folded wraps back into the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is lightly browned.
  8. Add optional toppings if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
  • You can substitute other cheeses like mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • Serve immediately for the best melty texture.
