A simple recipe for cooking salmon fillets with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze on a single baking sheet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops and sides of the fillets evenly with the olive oil.
  4. Spoon the honey mustard glaze over the top of each salmon fillet, spreading it to cover the surface.
  5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of or around the salmon.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add asparagus or broccoli to the pan for a complete meal; add them before the salmon and roast for 5 minutes before adding the fish.
  • Adjust the amount of honey based on your preference for sweetness.
