A simple and flavorful baked chicken dish with a crispy Parmesan coating.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, ensuring it is fully coated.
  4. Press the egg-coated chicken into the Parmesan mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite side dishes like pasta, salad, or roasted vegetables.
  • For extra crispiness, you can broil the chicken for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
