Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas and carrots mix
2 cups cooked egg noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine the browned beef and onion mixture, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, peas and carrots, and cooked egg noodles. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
If you do not have cooked egg noodles, you can use 6 ounces of dry egg noodles and add an extra 1/2 cup of milk to the mixture. Adjust baking time as needed until noodles are tender.
