Ranch Seasoned Wings with Crispy Finish

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings thoroughly dry using paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper until coated. Drizzle with olive oil and toss again.
  4. Spread wings on the rack in a single layer. Bake for 45โ€“50 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Increase oven temperature to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) for the last 10 minutes.
  6. Toss hot wings with ranch seasoning in a clean bowl and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure wings are completely dry before coating.
