Simple Lemon Herb Baked Chicken and Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon, half juiced, half sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  3. Arrange asparagus around the chicken.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and asparagus.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over everything.
  6. Sprinkle oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper on top.
  7. Place lemon slices on top of the chicken.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and asparagus is tender.

Notes

  • Serve immediately.
  • You can add other vegetables like bell peppers or cherry tomatoes.
