A simple and quick skillet lasagna recipe with layers of pasta, meat sauce, and cheese, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach or basil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat, then pour in marinara sauce and let it simmer.
  3. Break lasagna noodles into thirds and layer them into the skillet, stirring gently.
  4. Dollop ricotta cheese on top, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan. Add fresh spinach or basil if using.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes until everything is bubbly.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest briefly before serving.
