Ingredients
Scale
9 sheets Lasagna Sheets
2 cups Marinara Sauce
10 oz Frozen Spinach
15 oz Ricotta Cheese
¾ cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
Salt
Pepper
Fresh Basil (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out all excess water.
In a large bowl, combine the drained spinach, ricotta cheese, ¾ of the grated parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spread ½ cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
Layer lasagna sheets over the sauce.
Spread the spinach-ricotta mixture evenly over the lasagna sheets.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the ricotta mixture.
Repeat the layering process with marinara sauce, lasagna sheets, spinach-ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese until all ingredients are used, finishing with lasagna sheets topped with marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before garnishing with fresh basil, slicing, and serving.
Notes
You can use fresh or dried lasagna sheets.
Homemade or store-bought marinara sauce works well.
Ensure spinach is thoroughly drained to prevent a watery lasagna.
