  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  7. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken breast for thighs if preferred.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic or sugar to your taste.
  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
