Sugar Cookie Latte at Home (Holiday Menu)

Make a festive Sugar Cookie Latte at home using this simple recipe for a cozy holiday coffee drink.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ Cup Brown Sugar (for syrup)
  • ⅓ Cup Water (for syrup)
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract (for syrup)
  • 2 Teaspoons Almond Extract (for syrup)
  • 2 shots Espresso
  • ½ Cup Steamed Milk (almond milk or preferred milk)
  • Sprinkles (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Heat a saucepan over low-medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar, water, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the saucepan. Stir for 5 to 7 minutes until a brown syrup forms. The consistency will not be thick.
  3. Pour approximately 3 tablespoons of the finished syrup into a tall glass.
  4. Add ice to the glass.
  5. Pour the espresso shots over the ice.
  6. Add the milk. You may steam the milk or add it cold.
  7. Stir the drink until the syrup, espresso, and milk combine.
  8. Top with sprinkles and serve.

Notes

  • You can use any type of milk for this recipe; almond milk works well.
  • Steaming the milk is optional; you can use cold milk directly.
