Tilapia in Roasted Pepper Sauce

A simple recipe for tilapia fillets baked in a flavorful roasted red pepper sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 tilapia fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  3. Place the tilapia fillets in the baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the chopped roasted red peppers, chicken broth, minced garlic, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the pepper mixture over the tilapia fillets.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or a side salad.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicier sauce.
