  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve on burger buns with your choice of toppings.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the turkey mixture to keep the burgers tender.
  • Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Consider adding a splash of chicken broth to the mixture for extra moisture.
