Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot, sliced thin
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add cooking oil and heat for 30 seconds.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring.
  3. Add ground turkey, breaking it up into small pieces. Cook for 5-7 minutes until cooked through, stirring frequently.
  4. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Stir to combine with turkey and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour over turkey and vegetables. Stir well.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Heat the pan before adding oil for even turkey cooking.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan for proper cooking.
  • Add harder vegetables first, then softer ones if needed.
  • Add garlic after onions to prevent burning.
